Privacy policy
Last updated: 15 August 2026. This policy explains what data we process via this website, why, and your rights under the GDPR.
Who is responsible?

What data do we process?
- Contact form and newsletter (still a demo): once live, we process the details you enter (name, email, message) only to reply or send the newsletter. Until then, form data is not sent or stored.
- Bookings via Beds24: if you load the booking module and send a request or booking, Beds24 processes the data you enter there. We receive booking details to confirm and fulfil your stay.
- WhatsApp, phone and email: messages you send us are processed to handle your question or booking.
- Technical logs: our host (Cloudflare) may temporarily process technical data needed to run the site securely (such as IP addresses in security logs). We do not use these for marketing profiles.
Cookies
- Language cookie (
vila_lang): functional. Remembers your language choice when you switch languages. Retention: 1 year. - Cookie notice (
vila_cookie_notice): functional. Remembers that you dismissed the notice. Retention: 1 year. - Beds24: we load the beds24.com booking module only after you click “Load booking module” on the booking page. Beds24 may then set functional cookies for your booking session. - No tracking or marketing cookies of our own. No analytics pixels without your consent.
Third-party services
- Beds24 — booking module (only after your action on the booking page).
- YouTube (youtube-nocookie.com) — videos load only after you click the thumbnail.
- Google Maps — map embed on the getting-there page (lazy loaded).
- WhatsApp — if you use the chat link, WhatsApp/Meta terms apply.
- Cloudflare — hosting, security and (after go-live) geo language routing.
Retention
We keep contact messages only as long as needed to handle your request, then delete or anonymise them. Booking data is kept as long as needed to perform the contract and meet legal duties (for example accounting).
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and object to processing. Email info@lavilanatureexperience.com. You may also complain to your national supervisory authority.
Changes
If we change this policy, we update the date above. For material changes we will note it briefly on the site.
