Getting to La Vila
La Vila sits on the Camí de Cogolls in Les Planes d'Hostoles, between Girona and Olot. Car, plane or train: these are your options.

Car, plane or train
By car
From the Netherlands or Belgium it's roughly 1,400 km, a long day's drive through France (A7/AP-7). Near Girona take the exit towards the C-63 (Amer, Les Planes d'Hostoles) or enter the valley via Olot. Parking on site is no problem.

Flying
Girona (GRO) · ± 45 min drive. The nearest airport, but note: the flight schedule is seasonal. In winter there are usually few or no direct flights from northern Europe, so always check the current schedule.
Barcelona El Prat (BCN) · ± 1 h 45 drive. Many flights year-round from most European cities. Outside summer this is almost always your best option.
Rent a car at the airport: public transport into the valley exists, but a car gives you freedom.
Train & bus
Travelling overland works well: take the high-speed train via Paris to Barcelona or Girona. From Girona, regional operator TEISA runs the Girona-Olot bus line through the valley, with a stop in Les Planes d'Hostoles.

What time can I arrive?
We're flexible. Share your expected arrival time with your booking and we'll be ready for you. Running late? A quick WhatsApp message is enough.
Is the road to the grounds easy to drive?
Yes, La Vila is perfectly reachable with a regular car. The last stretch is a country lane, so take it easy and enjoy the view.
Can I manage without a car once I'm there?
For the trails, the gorgs and the Via Verde you don't need a car: they start at your tent. For day trips to Besalú, Rupit or the coast a car is the comfortable option.
